The experimental rose garden in Washington Park is a great place for visitors to relax. The plagues with all the Rose Queens' names, the views, the scents, all make for a picturesque and memorable day. Admission to the park is free, as is the parking. During the summer months, there are nights in the garden that include open air concerts. This is a perfect place to spend a leisurely day and enjoy a relaxing walk through the rose garden that will give you a taste of what makes Portland a perfect family vacation destination on the west coast.
