Portland Oregon. McCall Waterfront Park - Situated along the Willamette River, kids love to splash in the Salmon Street Spring Fountain. The whole family will enjoy a three-mile loop tour that starts in the park. This picturesque walk offers the best view of the Portland skyline. Oldtown District - Enjoy shopping and street entertainment at the Portland Saturday Market. Or if you are in the mood for great pizza the Old Town Pizza restaurant is the place to go. Beneath the floorboards of the restaurant you can tour the historic “Shanghai Tunnels” of Portland’s underground. Take a 90-minute tour to see where unsuspecting men were once kidnapped to work on ships headed to the Orient. This tour is suited more for teens and adults. Lloyd Center Mall - The mall features an indoor ice skating rink, a huge food court, 18 movie screens and lots of shopping (remember Oregon has no sales tax). Fun for the whole family. Oaks Amusement Park - Features one of the only roller skating rinks to still use live organ music. Oregon Museum of Science and Industry - Located in Portland’s eastside the museum has a planetarium, Omnimax (five-story) theater, the USS Blueback submarine (docked on the river behind the museum) and many interactive exhibit. Willamette River tours - Outrageous Jetboat offers long or short rides along the river or out to the gorge. Washington Park - The Park can be easily reached by the MAX light rail train. From this one location you can visit the Zoo, Children’s Museum and the Forestry Center.
